Sydney and Sean’s wedding at Ancala Country Club in Scottsdale, AZ was the perfect blend of modern elegance, thoughtful details, and an unforgettable party. Designed in a timeless black and white wedding palette, their celebration proved that classic design paired with intentional planning can create a wedding day that feels both elevated and incredibly fun.

With sweeping mountain views, statement florals and candles, and an energetic reception that kept guests dancing all night, this wedding was a true reflection of the couple’s style and personalities. The ceremony took place outdoors at Ancala Country Club, framed by breathtaking mountain views and wide-open skies. Flowers by Jodi designed a striking split floral arch served as the focal point, creating a bold yet refined ceremony backdrop. Lush arrangements featuring anemones, baby’s breath and soft white florals added texture and contrast while maintaining the clean black and white aesthetic.

The ceremony design felt modern and intentional—allowing the setting, florals, and emotional moments to shine without distraction. Guests were welcomed into a space that felt curated, elegant, and undeniably timeless. Live music by guitarist Cameron Degurski during the ceremony and cocktail hour set the tone for a relaxed yet elevated experience, seamlessly transitioning guests from vows to celebration.

Every detail of Sydney and Sean’s wedding was carefully considered. Made by Madi Design Co. beautiful custom signage, printed menus tied with delicate ribbons, and soft candlelight throughout the reception added warmth and polish to the modern design.

These intentional touches not only enhanced the aesthetic, but also elevated the guest experience—an essential element of wedding planning. As the sun set, guests transitioned into a stunning reception space where dinner and dancing took place beneath elegant chandeliers. The ambiance was romantic, modern, and inviting—perfect for a night filled with celebration.

When it was time to dance, DJ Cordero took over the energy of the space, joined by a jazz saxophonist who brought an unexpected and dynamic element to the dance floor. The result? A packed dance floor and nonstop celebration that carried well into the evening. With guest experience at the forefront of the bride and groom’s planning minds, they had Pixster photobooth and Pearl’s Mini Donuts available for guests to indulge while I shimmied my way across the dance floor handing out foam glow sticks.

Sydney was the definition of a planner’s dream bride. Organized, efficient, detail-oriented, and incredibly communicative—she truly spoke my love language. Her clarity and preparation allowed for a seamless planning process, thoughtful decision-making, and a wedding day that unfolded beautifully and on schedule. She and Sean were incredibly joyous and beaming with love and delight all day long. It was an honor to witness!
